Customer Driven Innovation

Customer Driven Innovation is understanding the customer's needs.
To connect with the customer, to customize their experience with their business, and to make sure the customer is satisfied are important business practices for the company to survive.
Companies create products for the ideal customer and customize products to fit their needs.
Customer Driven Innocation may be the new way companies are doing business these days, but it comes to show how important the customer is in charge.

Hallmark Cards

I found the information about Hallmark Cards interesting that my team did a presentation about. Drawing out an online community to gather feedback from customers and generate ideas on promotions is a different concept and way to conduct business for me. I heard of Hallmark Cards before this class. What I knew about them is they develop greeting cards. There is also a Hallmark cable network. I had no idea they had a community that they used to grow their business.

Presidential Election

This will probably be a very close presidential election. I watched the debates on TV and there's one more final debate on Wed., Oct. 15. I'm for John McCain. I can't picture Barack Obama running the Whitehouse. McCain has more experience. People think McCain is going to be another President Bush, but I don't think so. I think he'll be a fine president. He may be 72 years old, but he's very healthy and his mother is still alive at the age of 96. I think McCain will get this country on the right track. http://www.johnmccain.com

blogging in a college course

I never thought I'll be blogging in any course I take. I've heard of blogs, I've read over peoples blogs, but never created a blog myself. A blog is a personal diary of a person's thoughts, etc. Blogs often contain personal opinions, beliefs, etc. I'm not an outspoken person and don't voice my opinion that often, so I'm not one to post my thoughts on the web. But there are some thoughts worth posting.

I need to get busy with this blog

I've failed to keep up with this blog as I'm not used to the idea of blogging. That's going to change now, I hope. Overall, Knowledge Management Systems has been an interesting course. There's a lot more to knowledge management than I would have thought.
